The 5th Annual Black Tie Ball
The theme has been set and the organisers are in full swing. Get set for ‘The White Hot Ball’. The 5th Annual Kids For Life Ball to be held on the 12th April 2008 at Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion. Each year it gets bigger and better and next year will be no exception.
In the past the ball has attracted up to 750 guests, with red carpet celebrities, entertainment, live and silent auctions, amazing speakers related to our causes and Adam Spencer MCing the night.
Tickets are $195 each, which includes a beautiful 3 course meal with wine to accompany it. You will be seated in tables of 10 so why not fill one with a group of your work colleagues, family or friends.
So far we have managed to raise in excess of $1 million at our events thanks to our amazing sponsors and supporters. Without your help, Kids For Life would not achieve the great success we strive for in making a future filled with happier, healthier kids.
We look forward to seeing you there. Click here to purchase your tickets today.
Breakfast Launch
On the morning of Wednesday 24 October 2007, Kids for Life launched The Headstart Club project to our current sponsors, VIP guests, the media and potential supporters. We did so appropriately, at Breakfast.
We also launched I Can Do Anything by Justin Drape, an inspirational and uplifting non-fiction read, about how other ‘kids’ have overcome adversity to become some of the world’s most famous athletes, politicians, explorers, and scientists.
The sit down breakfast for 150 guests at Sydney’s Botanical Gardens Restaurant, with a high profile guest panel included Greg Clark and comedian, Libbi Gorr, who helped our supporters understand what we’re about in 2007, and, of course, it was a great start to the day. It was a huge sucess where we managed to raised over $5,000 to kick start these projects into the new year.
Here's what some guests had to say:
"Well Done Guys! I was so impressed with how professional and organised it all was. The place looked great and the video was very inspiring. I was glad I could offer a little bit of help this morning to such a good cause!"
"Congratulations on such a fun breakfast, what a great way to get the message out there about your new projects and vision. I wish you continued success and lots of fun along the way."
"I just wanted to send you a little note to congratulate you on a fab breakkie last Wednesday. Gorgeous venue, excellent speakers... it was such a great event and we all really enjoyed it."
